2018 FESTIVAL SHOWS

Crossing Borders

Two separate stories of migration, Where Shadow Chases Light by Velina Hasu Houston and Fragments by Alex McSweeney, explore a common theme in Crossing Borders - an international exploration of two cultures and their paths of immigration.

Ryenamics, Ryerson's Premier acapella group, is proud to present the culmination of the last 9 months of hard work. These young people devoted their time and incredible talents to the musical art of acapella performance, distilling the complexity of modern instumental music down to its purest form - the human voice. Mentored by Ben Bram producer and arranger for Pentatonix.

Two Nine One Letters explores the love of two of the most influential figures in early American modernist art: Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz.

A first sharing of a new full-length absurd dance theatre work from Rock Bottom Movement. "fantasylover" will be a feminist form of confessional non fiction concerning four women entangled in fantasies of unrequited love.

A full night of music! First the Toronto Dance Hall Association will perform inside the Ryerson Student Learning Centre at the corner of Yonge and Gould st. After the sun goes down head outside to a celebration on Gould street featuring some of Toronto's hottest live performing artists!
